Mangalore, May 18: The suspension of former Kadri police inspector Bashir Inspector Bashir Ahmad has been revoked.  However, he has now been transferred to Special Branch in neighouring Uttara Kannada district.

Bashir Ahmad was suspended after an enquiry from a DySP level officer a couple of months ago for assaulting a police of Kadri station.  Now that his suspension is revoked, he has been placed under Special Branch of the Uttara Kannada district.
