Udupi, May 18: The district will be host to an artistic treat with the annual painting exhibition of the Artists' Forum scheduled to be held at Gallery Drishti here from Sunday May 21 to Tuesday May 23.

Speaking to reporters here, Forum president Ramesh Rao informed that recent paintings sculptures and photographs of over 23 Forum members will be exhibited.

The inauguration will be done by A S Kanak, general manager, Syndicate Bank, Manipal. The chief guest will be regional transport officer M P Omkareshwari. The function will be presided over by Prof K P Rao of Manipal Institute of Communication, Manipal.

The art pieces on display will also be available for sale. The timings will be 10 am to 7 pm. The Artists' Forum is dedicated to the promotion of visual arts and is looking to develop human resources in the field of art.

Saku Pangala, Forum secretary, was present.
