Udupi, May 21: P Hemalatha, an IAS office of the 2000 batch took charge as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Udupi Zilla Panchayat on Saturday May 20.

Hemalatha was working as the general manager of resettlement and rehabilitation, Upper Tunga Project. Hemalatha had the experience of working in Udupi district earlier as the assistant commission of Kundapur division.

G L Chandrashekharaiah has been posted as the general manager of resettlement and rehabilitation, Upper Krishna Project, Bagalkot.

Outgoing CEO  R Shantaraj has been transferred to rural development department, Bangalore.
