‘Nano-technology Will Revolutionized Telecommunication’

Mangalore: Telecommunication will be revolutionized further with the entry of nano- technology said DK Telecom district principal general manager T N Sudhindra Kumar.

He was speaking after inaugurating the seminar on present and forthcoming trends in telecommunication, organized under the aegis of Kodagu, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Engineers Assocation at Lions Seva Mandir, Mallikatte here on Saturday.

President of the association B Padmanabha Rai presided over the programme.

Women’s Polytechnic, Mangalore senior lecturer Harish Shetty presented a paper on innovation in telecommunications, while Visveshvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, Bangalore curator K A Sadhana spoke on wireless communication technology.


Free Books Distributed to 1,400 Children

Mangalore: Free books were distributed to as many as 1,400 students by the Central Market premises on Saturday. MLA Yogish Bhat distributed the books.

Central Market Merchants Assocation president K Shashidharan, general secretary Hameed Kandak and treasurer M G M Badruddin were present on the occasion.
