Forced into sex and drug racket, claim Ugandan women

New Delhi, Feb 4 (IANS): Three Ugandan women told Delhi Police Tuesday that they were lured by placement agencies and assured plum jobs in the national capital but were instead thrust into sex and drug rackets.

The women registered a complaint with Deputy Commissioner (south and southeast) Nila Mohanan, saying several such placement agencies were operating in and around Delhi.

Following the complaint, police recorded their statements Tuesday after obtaining orders from the Saket district court, a police officer said.
