Beltangady, May 21: A case of a wife complaining to the police that her husband, missing for the last two years, had been recently found living with another woman has been reported from the Beltangady police station.

Chandrashekhar from Neriya near here had married a local young woman Chandravati in 1996. They have two children, one of 8 and the second of 6 years.

When the wife since inherited some parental property, Chandrashekhar started coercing her to transfer it to his name. When she kept on refusing, he left the house two years ago and had not been located in spite of all efforts.

However, he was recently found to be living with another woman in Dharmasthala in the taluk. Now she has sought police help in restitution of her marital right and return of the husband to her.

It is not known if he has married the second wife with rituals or if she was aware that he was already married.
