Warm Tuesday in Delhi, Wednesday to be similar


New Delhi, Feb 4 (IANS): Delhi experienced a warm Tuesday with the maximum temperature at 25.7 degree Celsius, three notches above the season's average. Wednesday is expected to see similar weather as well as a partly cloudy sky.

The maximum and the minimum temperature Wednesday will hover around 26 and 11 degrees Celsius respectively.

There be moderate fog in the morning while the sky will remain partly cloudy throughout the day.

Light fog on Tuesday morning cleared as the day progressed while the sky remained clear and the day warm.

The minimum temperature was 10.8 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.

According to the Northern Railway, 15 trains were rescheduled and 20 trains ran late due to the fog in the northern parts of the country.

However, flights operated on schedule, a spokesperson of the Indira Gandhi International Airport said.

The weather was warm and pleasant Monday as the maximum temperature was 27.8 degrees Celsius - six notches above the season's average, while the minimum was 8.6 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year.
