New York, Feb 5 (IANS): For all those frequent or not-so-frequent air travellers, what about some conversation up in the sky that can lead you to a date, even to make a little turbulence in the lavatory?
You heard it right.
Here comes an in-flight app that promises to let you meet fellow passengers on your flight while you're still in the air.
Called 'Wingman', the app is created by Gabe Whaley, a copywriter in New York.
How does it work?
Create a profile with your picture, first name, age, occupation, flight number and the airline you are traveling with.
Connect to the inflight Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and you are up for grab by fellow travellers also logged in to the app.
“I think it will make people curious and you never know that someone might start a conversation that they might not have otherwise had,” Whaley was quoted as saying.
“Whether they go through with it (making love) or not has nothing to do with the app. It has everything to do with them,” chuckled Whaley.
The team hopes to release the app in April.
