Schone leads Ajax to easy victory against Heerenveen

The Hague, Feb 17 (IANS): Ajax eased to a 3-0 win over sc Heerenveen in Amsterdam to maintain their lead at the top of the Dutch Eredivisie.

Ajax took a comfortable 2-0 lead through two early penalties in the 12th and 18th minute in the match Sunday, reports Xinhua.

Lasse Schone converted both penalties and in the 82nd minute Schone added his third goal for his first hat-trick in professional football.

Also Sunday Feyenoord dropped points, drawing 1-1 against NAC Breda.
