Gutthi vs Chutki - Mad in India!

Mumbai, Feb 21:
Started with the hope of cashing in on the trend of the hugely popular ' Comedy Nights with Kapil', Mad in India it seems has failed to make the impact it hoped for.

Sunil Grover has attempted to translate his immense popularity as the dim-witted, funny, cute Gutthi  by introducing  a similar character named Chutki. Chutki  though, was unable to strike the same chord as Gutthi, said Kapil Sharma. It had been speculated that Sunil Gorver had left 'Comedy Nights with Kapil, due to differences with Kapil, but Kapil continues to deny any such occurance. He instead said that he had immense respect for Sunil Grover who was his senior in the business and wished him all the very best with this venture.

Comedian Rehman Khan asked the audience to grant the show and its participants some time and a fair chance to prove their worth. He believed that it was too early for people to judge and  subsequently write off their show.

Mad in India has noted comedians such as Rehman Khan, Shwetha Tiwari, Manish Paul and ofcourse Sunil Grover among others on its show and is based on the lives of the people in a small place called Bharatpur. Many had begun to believe that Comedy Nights with Kapil was getting a bit too repetitive and hoped for a reprieve with the introduction of Mad in India but now seem to be disappointed having seen the first offering of the much hyped show
