Blast kills 12 near Syria-Turkey border


Ankara, Feb 23 (IANS): At least 12 people were killed and 65 others injured Sunday when a bomb-laden vehicle blew up near the Syria-Turkey border.

The bomb exploded near a hospital in the Syrian town of Atmeh bordering Bukulmez village of Reyhanli town of Turkey's Hatay province, Xinhua reported citing Dogan news agency.

Sunday's blast comes after an explosion Thursday in Turkey's Kilis province near the Syria-Turkey border which claimed at least 24 lives.
