Warm Tuesday in Delhi, similar Wednesday expected


New Delhi, Feb 25 (IANS): The national capital experienced a warm, sunny Tuesday as the maximum temperature settled at 25.2 degrees Celsius - average for this time of the season. Similar weather is expected Wednesday, the Met office said.

"Tomorrow (Wednesday) morning will see light fog but the day would be clear and warm and the evening will be pleasant and nippy," said an India Meteorological Department official.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 25 and 11 degrees Celsius.

Tuesday morning was pleasant and the minimum temperature was recorded two notches below average at 10.3 degrees Celsius.

According to a Northern Railway, 9 trains coming to Delhi were running late due to fog in and around the national capital and parts of northern India.

Monday's maximum temperature settled at 22.8 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled a notch below the season's average at 10 degrees Celsius.
