Mangalore, May 28: In order to meet the requirements of the monsoons and to reach timely assistance during natural calamities, the Mangalore City Corporation has geared up its public grievance redress cell help lines.

According to a press release, the help lines have been installed at the Mangalore city corporation office which will attend to the calls from citizens round the clock.

In case of people having problems due to heavy rainfall, flood, natural calamities etc can call 155313 (toll free number) and 2454357.

Public can register their complaints related to drinking water street light, underground drainage, solid waste management, unauthorized constructions, road drains by dialing the above number.

Citizens can also register their complaints through website www.mangalorecity.gov.in. following is the list of phone numbers of the officers.

For road, water supply, public works, street lights, underground drainage, open drains etc public can contact Suresh Babu, executive engineer on 2456700 (office) 2458899 (Res) or 9448144611 (mobile) or assistant engineers on 2457578, 2457579, 2457548,2457549 (exn 228242, 206, 238)

For solid waste management, road sweeping, cleaning of dustbins, cleaning the open drains, spraying medicines, Malaria/Dengue and other health related complaints, citizens can contact Dr Manjayya Shetty, health officer: 2457578 (office), 2224620 (Res) 944891675 (mobile).

Revenue office Mallya can be contacted for revenue related complaints on 2455459, 2456979 (res) or Praveen, assistant Revenue office on 9845671371.
