Oman foreign minister to visit India


New Delhi, Feb 26 (IANS): Oman's Foreign Affairs Minister Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah will be on a two-day visit to Delhi Feb 28-March 1, a statement said Wednesday.

India and Oman enjoy a friendly relationship based on people-to-people contacts.

Bilateral trade in 2013 was approximately $5 billion per annum.

The Indian embassy issued a record 59,000 visas, signifying robust tourism flow from Oman to India in 2013.
