Mangalore, May 29: Children were back with uniform and heavy bags as schools across the city reopened on Monday May 29.
Usually schools reopen on June 1 after summer holidays. But now as per the government order schools start two days before the usual opening.
While high schools are scheduled to begin on Tuesday May 30, primary schools began on May 29.
However, some schools were closed owing to heavy rains and children had to go back home, thus letting them enjoy one more day of vacation.
