Mangalore, May 29: An unidentified scooterist rider was knocked down to death by a KSRTC bus in front of the taluk panchayat office here on Monday May 29 afternoon.
A KSRTC bus (KA 19-F- 2192) plying between the city and Puttur was on its way back to the city when it hit a scooter from behind on Monday in front of taluk panchayat office.
As a result, the scooterist fell on the road and sustained serious injuries. The accident was such ghastly that the scooterist died on the spot.
His identity was not yet established. His body has been kept in the Wenlock Hospital morgue.
The Pandeshwar police have booked a case in this regard.
