Puttur, May 30: Charles D'Souza (48), a labourer in the Mother of God Church here was knocked to death by a goods train at Bedrala near here on Sunday May 28 night.

Charles was going to his house across the railway track at Bedral near here on Sunday night when the goods train hit him.  As a result he sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

Mangalore railway police have registered a case in this regard.
