Mangalore, May 31: Three day’s workshop on training to HIV/AIDS counsellors was organized by KROSS, Bangalore from Wednesday May 24 to Friday 26 at CODP-ISD Hall here.

Addressing the valedictory function of Training to HIV/AIDS to counsellors of 10 dioceses of Karnataka, chief guest CODP director Fr Onil D’Souza, said “In our country people suffering from HIV/AIDS are isolated from the main stream of the society. This agony of being isolated from one's loved ones is "Hell on Earth."  He called upon the counsellors to impart knowledge to society in order to root-out the misconception about this dreaded disease.

 Msgr Fredrick V Pereira presided over the function. He congratulated the counsellors for their exemplary work and their courage to get into a field which is neglected by large sections of the society.
