Beltangady, May 31: The police have arrested four persons here for pick-pocketing, who were stealing money and valuables from tourists at Dharmastala.
All the four are originally from Davangere. The police have also recovered stolen cash and ornaments. The arrested have been identified as Sharan Nayak (23), Krishna Nayak Koodli (21), Shankar Nayak (27) and Krishna Nayak (21).
Out of the four, two were arrested red-handed at Dharmastala, while the other two were arrested at Ujire.
The four have been detained to police custody and have been produced before the court.
