8 Gurgaon students held for attacking classmates


Gurgaon, March 5 (IANS): Eight students, studying in a prominent school here, were arrested for attacking two classmates, police said Wednesday.

They were arrested for attacking two brothers -- Sagar and Amit, studying in class 12 -- outside the school. The two were admitted to a private hospital. They are residents of Sukhrali, near sector 17, here.

The arrested were identified as Sachin, Sudhanshu, Brij Kumar, Anuj, Pritam, Abhishek, Vinit and Vipul. The accused, also from the same class, are in the 18-20 age group and live in Maruti Kunj colony, Bhondsi.

The accused have been booked under sections 148, 149, 323 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
