Mumbai, Jun 1: Neither Rahul, son of slain BJP general secretary Pramod Mahajan, nor Rekha, the late leaders wife would contest the June 15 Rajya Sabha poll, according to BJP group leader in Maharashtra Assembly, Gopinath Munde.
"They will not contest as the election is not going to be unopposed," a statement quoting Munde said.

BJP's nominee would be announced soon, he said.
