Mangalore, Jun 1: As a result of a landslide on the Konkan Railway tracks at Ratnagiri in Maharashtra, train services have been heavily disrupted.
The Mumbai-Mangalore Matsyagandha Express, scheduled to arrive here from Mumbai at 7 am on Wednesday, chugged in only in the evening.
However, it is to the credit of the railway staff that the railway tracks were cleared so fast and the delay was only of some hours, instead of trains getting cancelled.
Since heavy rains are forecast for the coming 24 hours, disruptions may continue, said railway sources here.
