Mangalore, Jun 1: Rain in the district receded in the district on Wednesday. Though the indications of rain were seen throughout the day, the rainfall received was comparatively less.

Beltangady recorded the highest rainfall with 67 mm. Bantwal recorded 62, Puttur recorded 57 mm, Bajpe with 48.6 mm, Sullia with 55.8 mm and Mangalore 44.8 mm.

Uppinangady recorded the lowest of 40 mm rain.
