Sunny Friday in Delhi


New Delhi, March 7 (IANS):  Delhiites woke up to a pleasant Friday morning. The Met office forecast a clear and sunny day.

The day's minimum temperature was 11 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.

"The skies will remain clear throughout the day. Shallow fog was recorded early in the morning," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 22 degrees Celsius.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 85 percent.

Thursday's maximum temperature was 25.7 degrees Celsius -- two notches below the season's average, while the minimum was 11.9 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average.
