Mangalore, Jun 1: Mohammad Samiulla (45), a gazetted officer in National Cadet Corps (NCC) who was residing at the NCC quarters at Bondel near here was found murdered in his house on Thursday June 1 morning.
Mohammad Samiulla who hailed from Kolar district was living alone in his house. The police sources said that he has been stabbed to death between Monday 31 and June 1 night in his house.
Since there was no one else present in the house, the murder came to light only on Thursday morning. So far no details are available about the killers. So too the motive behind the murder too is not known yet. The initial sources also said that it appeared as if nothing is stolen from the house which indeed complicated the matter as why he has been murdered.
The Kavoor police have registered a case in this regard. More details are yet awaited.
