Karkala, Jun 1: B Ganapati Bhat (42), a noted ayurvedic physician from Belman has mysteriously gone missing from Thursday May 25.

B Ganapati Bhat who has a clinic at Mundkur near here had gone to Bangalore along with his family to attend the wedding ceremony of one of his relatives.  After the marriage he returned home on May 24 night by Vishal Travels.

On the next day he had called his wife Dr Uma who had stayed back in Bangalore from Gandhi Bazaar here and said that he had reached safely.  However, thereafter he neither he called her nor anyone else.

Distressed by this his wife called him up at his residence at Belman but no one picked the call.  She then even called at his clinic number where once again no one answered the call.  Finally she got in touch with one of his friends who told her that Ganapati had left the city saying that he is going to Kerala.

Hearing this Dr Uma immediately rushed back to Belman.  Since Ganapati originally hailed from Bantwal, she went there to gather details about him.  But even there no one had any information about Ganapati.

So now she has filed a complaint with the Karkala rural police in this regard.
