Mumbai, Jun 2: For his forthcoming film Undertrail, Rajpal Yadav shot in Thane jail with real prisoners for nearly 10 days. Apparently, this is the first time that a Bollywood film is been shot in a jail.
Director Aziz Khan insisted to shooting the film at a real location rather than building sets. The producer managed to get the permission to shoot, after the jail superintendent was satisfied with the script. He allowed them to shoot for more than 10 days in the jail.
Rajpal Yadav seems to have had interesting experience while shooting. It was a learning experience he says. He felt touched when the convicts in the jail kept coming to him talking about his films. He was shocked to learn that people there wanted to talk to him about Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon rather than his other commercial and popular films. They also requested him to also focus on serious roles other than comedy ones.
