Daijiworld News Network - Mangalore (MB)
with inputs from Bangalore and Fr Franklin D'Souza, Shimoga

Bangalore, Jun 7: The condition of Fr Henry Madtha, who was involved in a road accident near Channarayapatna in Hassan district while on his way from Bangalore to Magge,  remains the same and there is no improvement.

He runs a slight fever and his haemoglobin level is said to be low. He remains in a deep unconscious state and it is a cause of concern for everyone.

He has been moved to an isolation ward where no one is allowed to enter. Anyone intending to visit the hospital is requested to keep in mind. His team member Fr Franklin D'Souza from Shimoga was allowed to see him as a special case on Wednesday morning.

Speaking over phone to Daijiworld's Mangalore office, Fr Franklin has requested for special prayers from all well-wishers and community members since it would require a miracle for Fr Henry to recover, given his present condition. Miracles do happen, says Fr Franklin.

Sister Vandana, who too was in the vehicle and severely injured, has been moved out of the ICU to the general ward.

Sister Anita Mary's condition is remains serious and she is still in the ICU, when the last reports came from Bangalore.

Prayers are sought for the recovery of all the injured.
