New Delhi, March 23 (IANS): It was a pleasant Sunday in the national capital with light rain in some parts. The Met office has forecast one or two spells of rain Monday.
"The skies will remain partly cloudy and thunderstorms are expected in some parts of the city Monday," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 27.6 degrees Celsius, three notches lower than the season's average, while the minimum was 17.6 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average.
Monday's maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 28 and 19 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded at 32.4 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum was 17.2 degrees Celsius.
