Rain likely in Delhi


New Delhi, March 24 (IANS): The national capital is likely to witness rain Monday, the Met Office has forecast.

"The day will remain cloudy with few spells of rain," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 27 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature settled at 18.0 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 87 percent.

Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 27.6 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average, while the minimum was 17.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
