Mangalore, Jun 8: A group of miscreants ransacked a hotel at Padil on Wednesday. The group which came in three bikes entered Everest Hotel and asked for beef chilly, which the waiter readily offered.
Immediately, the six members went around smashing the cupboards and breaking the chairs. The telephone booth attached to the hotel was also damaged.
The trouble-makers fled the place.
The hotel was offering beef meat and this is said to be the reason for the attack.
