Car racing in my DNA: Paul Walker before death

Los Angeles, March 28 (IANS): Actor Paul Walker, who died in a car accident last November at the age of 40, said in an interview in 2013 that car racing was part of his DNA thanks to his grandfather.

During an interview on the sets of his last complete film "Brick Mansions", he was questioned about his love for high speed driving, said a statement.

He said: "My grandfather was a racer. Racing is in my DNA."

Walker's character of a undercover cop from the movie is infamously known to have a love for cars.

When asked if he was okay for his 15-year-old daughter Meadow to see him driving fast, Walker said: "You know what. She is ultimately going to see it. So, she might as well see it with me. And I think she will grow up to be one hell of a driver."
