Mumbai, Apr 4 (Mid-day) : Lonavala city police busted a late night booze party at a bungalow in Gold Valley in the Tungarli area on Wednesday and arrested 47 boys and girls. Cops said they also recovered liquor, hookah and flavoured tobacco worth Rs 19,000.
According to the Lonavala police, they got a call at around 12.30 am on Wednesday complaining of loud noises and boys and girls partying at plot number 50 in Gold Valley project in Tungarli area. Acting on the complaint, Inspector IS Patil and his team raided the location.
"When we reached there we found the boys and girls — from a law college in Mumbai — partying and drinking. Some of the girls were semi-naked," he said.
Patil added that the owner Saifuddin AK Colombowala and manager Dilip Rammilan Yadav and the 47 partygoers were arrested and taken to a hospital.
They were produced in the Wadgaon court on Thursday afternoon and remanded to judicial custody.
