Patna, April 6 (IANS): The BJP may land in trouble if it releases its election manifesto April 7 as it will be in violation of the model code of conduct, Election Commissioner H.S. Brahma said here Saturday.

"We will try to enforce the Representation of the People Act," Brahma told reporters, making it clear that as the first phase of polls will be held April 7, a political party cannot announce anything related to elections 48 hours before the end of polling.

The election commissioner is heading a poll panel team on a two-day visit to Bihar to review preparations for the Lok Sabha election.

Brahma said the Representation of the People Act was passed by parliament and suggested that political parties should read it as it was important for the election.

He said the poll panel will take action if there is any violation of the act, and urged the media to inform people about it.

    What an impressive list of their 'achievements'.

    Regarding manifesto, yes it is indeed their uncertainty as to which way to go, whether secular or communal.

    It also shows they throw all rules to the dustbin.

    A party without manifesto. Which means it really doesnt has an Idea as to what it will do if it comes to power.
    Media is only highlighting Modi
    Why is it not highlighting this issue.
    may be its now struck as to what to do ? Hindutva or secularism ? or Corrutption which it cannot talk as Yeddy and reddy in the party ?? then what development ? It has not there in gujrat.
    It even is not giving the opposition to talk about manifesto.
    It came with its PM canditate 1 year before . Thjen why it cant come up with a manifesto.
    Oh too many leaders ? or is RSS ?
    This is not correct in a democratic country it should relase before 2 weeks ?
    Even the media is not raising this issue ?
    Why paid by MODI.
    It only knows to show that everywhere MODI will win but What will he do if he comes to power ?? manifesto ?? Snooping ? another Godhra incident ? Pub attack ? Birthday party attack ?

    corruption ? Yeddy and reddy ??
    development ? Issueing land to Adani, Maruti ,TATA at very low prices ?? Aam aadmi ? Gas price highest in Gujarat ?? farmers policy ? where highest death rate of farmers is in Gujarat ? again a masjid demolition ? building Ram Mandir and again collect money in the name of RAM and fool people ? However, they already are collecting money in he name of MODI as he is now the God . ?
    or build one more statue of Sardar pate and waste land and crores of rupees ? so what is the agenda ?? I am a voter I need to know that ? FEKU knows to fool people very well.and people are already fooled.
