Prince William on three-week tour with wife, son

London, April 7 (IANS): Britain's Prince William Monday began a three-week tour to New Zealand and Australia with wife Kate Middleton and son Prince George.

The royals stepped off their special aircraft at the Military Terminal at Wellington Airport Monday morning, to begin their highly anticipated trip in New Zealand and Australia, reports www.eonline.com.

The Duchess of Cambridge carried the adorable eight-month-old on her hip and the Duke of Cambridge waved as the family disembarked from the Royal New Zealand Air Force aircraft.

The 32-year-old stunned in a Catherine Walker red coat with metallic buttons teamed with a silver fern diamond and platinum brooch borrowed from Queen Elizabeth II, a scarlet Gina Foster pill box hat and black pumps.

William sported a dark suit with a red and blue patterned tie while their son sported a cream sweater along with white shorts and little booties.

This is the family's first official event as well as George's first public appearance since his royal christening.
