Clear day ahead in Delhi


New Delhi, April 8 (IANS): Delhiites woke up to a warm Tuesday morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 19.5 degrees Celsius, average for the season. The Met Office has forecast a clear day ahead.

"The sky will remain clear with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 31 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 63 percent.

Monday's maximum temperature was recorded two notches below the season's average at 32.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 21 degrees Celsius.
