Mangalore, Jun 14: A joint protest against fuel price hike was held by the Left parties and the Samajwadi Party (SP) in front of the deputy commissioner's office here on Tuesday June 13.

Addressing the protesters, K R Sriyan, district unit general secretary, CPI (M), said that because of the hike even common commodities and services will be affected.

The procession, led by party leaders, began at Light House Hill and terminated at the deputy commissioner's office.
