Mumbai, Apr 10: Ryan Foundation under the leadership of its chairman, Dr A F Pinto and MD, Grace Pinto along with the family hosted a celebration to marks 70 Glorious Years of Ministry in the service of our Lord for  Bob Hoskins at ITC Maratha, Andheri on  April 7.

Child evangelist, world missionary, author and publisher are just a few of the many roles along with being the founder of 'OneHope', Bob Hoskins, who at the tender age of  seven  experienced a vision of Christ, realized God’s special calling to be His minister and launched his ministry of evangelism at such a young age.  As a boy preacher, he traversed the USA, British Guyana and later to the Arab Middle East where testimonies of revival and blessings followed alongwith with a challenging mission of establishing churches in areas that were otherwise unreachable.

'OneHope' has been reaching the world's children and youth with Scripture that speaks directly to their lives and culture. Over the years, it has touched a billion young lives and has published millions of copies of the Book of Hope  in  142  different languages (which include 16 Indian languages) in 125 countries. The mandate to spread the Word of God continues with a vision “God’s Word. Every Child” through their innovative Scripture engagement tools: print, film, apps, virtual worlds and much more.

For the celebration there were religious, pastors, friends and leaders from the city to honour and appreciate Bob Hoskins for his life and service. The celebration was truly to bring glory to the Lord for all He has done through Bob’s life.  Bob  and Hazel Hoskins were felicitated by Dr. Pinto, Madam Grace, Ryan Pinto with Memento and shawl.  On this occasion along with Bob, the Pinto Family felicitated the religious, friends and city pastors for their contribution and service. 

There were  Johnny Lever, Mahesh Bhupati, International Tennis player,  Albert D’souza, chairman of Aldel Education Trust,  Henry Lobo, chairman of the Christian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ps S Joseph, Fr Joe Dsouza, Walter Bouthelo, owner of Buthello Travels, Naveen, Bollywood Flutist, Vincent  Mathias, former chairman of CCCI, Shekhar Kallianpur, P Abraham,editor, Light of Life Magazine, Anand Pillai, senior exec vice president & chief learning officer at Reliance Industries Ltd among many other dignitaries.
