Bangalore, Jun 15: Renowned retreat preacher Fr Henry Madtha who was admitted to St Johns' Hospital here following an accident is gradually recovering. He is now showing signs of improvement.

The doctors treating him say that he is subconsciously sensitive, which is a healthy sign.  He is out of the ventilator and is breathing on his own. The only medication he is on are the antibiotics.

As reported earlier Fr Henry had been rushed to the hospital after sustaining critical injuries in an accident on Saturday June 3.
