Night trial of nuke capable Agni-I missile successful

Bhubaneswar, April 12 (IANS): India Friday successfully conducted the night trial of surface-to-surface Agni-I ballistic missile from a military base in Odisha, an official said.

The missile was launched by the Strategic Forces Command as part of user trial from the Wheeler Island off the coast near Dhamra in Bhadrak district, 170 km from state capital Bhubaneswar.

“The test was successful. This was a routine user trial and conducted at night” test range director M V K V Prasad told IANS.

Agni, which has already been inducted in the army, uses solid propulsion booster and a liquid propulsion upper stage, derived from country's first indigenously developed ballistic missile Prithvi.

They are all weather and all time weapon which can be tested any time as per user’s choice” Prasad added. Agni was first tested from the same base Jan 25, 2002.

Govt is spending crores of rupees for Agri and what not.But as Dear Abdulla said what is the use if do not use the technolgy to sustain out nations prestige.Pakistani soldiers last year killed two our brave soldiers in the border and taook away their heads.India under the Prime Minsutership of MMS could not able to give a fitting reply to our enimy leave alone making efforts to bring back the separated heads of two brave soldiers.
The most simplest thing...providing voters ID cards with "NO mistakes" is not possible to us whom we assume as IT super brands in the world.Instead made a half attempt to issue Aadhar card spending 50000 crores to issue 60 crore Aadhar cards creating panic among poor people.Ultimately SC had to come to peoples help.
