Accident prevention campaign inaugurated in city

Mangalore, Apr 12:
An accident prevention campaign, organized in association with the Lions Club International- Dist 317D and MJF Ln Agnel Rodrigues, the convener of the accident prevention and traffic rules was launched near traffic east police station, at Kadri Hills here on Saturday April 12.

The campaign was inaugurated by governor of Lions Dist-317D K C Prabhu.
 
The first vice district governor Manjunath Moorthy, second vice district governor Kavitha Shastri, Vani V Alva, Dr Santhosh Kumar Shastri, Ln Agnel Rodrigues and others were also present during the event.
 
Speaking on the occasion, K C Prabhu said, “Accidents increase as people do not follow the traffic rules. If one follows the traffic rules perfectly, the number of accidents can be reduced. Campaigns such as this help in creating awareness among people.”
 
Ln Agnel Rodrigues welcomed, compered and proposed the vote of thanks.
