Cloudy day ahead in Delhi


New Delhi, April 13 (IANS): It was a pleasant Sunday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded three notches above the season's average at 24 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast a cloudy day.

"The sky will remain partly cloudy and light rainfall is expected in some areas. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

Saturday's minimum temperature was recorded at 18.9 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average while the maximum temperature was recorded two notches below the season's average at 36 degrees Celsius.
