Rain likely in Delhi


New Delhi, April 14 (IANS): Delhiites Monday woke up to light drizzle in the morning and the Met Office has forecast spells of rain in the day.

"The skies will remain cloudy with light spells of rain or thundershower in some parts of the city," said an India Meteorological Department official.

The city has recorded 0.7 mm of rainfall since late Sunday.

The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 32 degrees Celsius.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 61 percent.

Sunday's minimum temperature was recorded three notches above the season's average at 24 degrees Celsius, while the maximum settled a notch above average at 37.2 degrees Celsius.
