Bahrain, Apr 14: ‘Mogaveers Bahrain’, the community association of Mogaveers who are hailing from the coastal Karnataka state of India, is celebrating the ‘Inauguration of Decennial Celebrations’ on April 18 at the Indian Club to mark the beginning of its 10th year of active existence in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

 This inaugural event which is the curtain-raiser for their year-long celebration of 10 special decennary events will also include the induction of newly appointed decennial executive committee headed by the chief founder of the association Leeladhar Baikampady.  


   
“A day long magnificent preluding event of the decennial celebrations, which features five talented artists and two distinguished guests from India will be the best weekend entertainment for the invited non-resident Tuluvas, Kannadigas and other chosen invitees. It will pleasantly force the audience to be spellbound and nostalgic” said ‘Mogaveers Bahrain’ president  Leeladhar Baikampady.

Unique singing sensation and nicknamed Usha Uthup of Coastal Karnataka Kalavathi Dayanand, richly talented and Junior Jesudas famed melody singer Jagadish Puttur will fly to the Kingdom to regale the invited audience with their typical style of singing in different languages other than Tulu and Kannada.  ‘Malenaada Kogile’  tagged and the ‘Zee-Kannada Comedy Khilaadi’ title winning humorist, mimic and singer Naveenchandra Koppa will mesmerize the invited crowd with his multitalented versatility. He will also feature himself as the chief presenter of this awesome event.

Also, to give the tradition blended cultural touch to this amazing programme, gifted saxophonist of the coastal region Chandrashekhar Yermal is invited and in addition to exhibiting his instrumental melody vibrancy, he will also present delightful musical ‘Jugalbandi’ with another ‘Kadala Thadiya Tabla Gaarudiga’ famed Tabla exponent of the Coastal Karnataka Deepakraj Ullal in combination with the local music-talent and Keyboardist Nafjad. Launching of Decennial Logo and 10 'Special Decennial Events List' are other prime parts of this much-expected event.    

Despite the enthralling performances by the invited artists from India, there will be exceptional mini nonstop ‘Tulu Vaibhava’, an opening event to glorify the cultural magnificence of the Taluvas of coastal Karnataka which is followed by the classical, semi-classical, contemporary and hip-hop styled dance forms presentation by the community and local artists.

To have ceremonial elevation of this superb event, the organizers have invited Dr (Prof) Deviprasad S., MD, Consultant Physician and well-known Youth-Activist, from Mangalore – India as the chief guest and renowned entrepreneur and philanthropic personality Premjit, Mahe-Pondicherry, India  as the Guest of Honour. Shabari International – Mumbai, Thenka Yermal Well-Wishers Group, Mumbai are the Main Sponsors of this programme and the Global Associates, Mangalore are the Co-Sponsors. The community representatives from the GCC countries like Oman, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait are also expected to participate in this much-promising programme of Mogaveers.
