Mangalore: Sullia recieves rainfall, other areas remain sunny

Mangalore, Apr 14: Sullia and surrounding areas recieved plenty of rain between 6 and 8 pm on Sunday April 13. The rain caused power supply to play hide and seek, and telephone lines went dead. All other places in Dakshina Kannada district, and the entire Udupi district, did not recieve any rain on Sunday.

Some areas like Gundlupet and Ramanagara in the state received some rain on Sunday. Summer is catching up in most parts of the state, with Bijapur recording highest temperature of 40.6 degree Celsius.

The meteorological department has predicted rain at some parts of southern interior Karnataka during the period ending with Tuesday morning.
