Zimbabwean held with narcotics valued at Rs.10 crore


Thiruvananthapuram, April 16 (IANS): Narcotic drugs valued at Rs.10 crore in the international market were seized Wednesday morning from a Zimbabwean woman at Thiruvananthapuram airport, officials said.

The woman was travelling to Doha and her final destination was Johannesburg in South Africa, an official told IANS.

On questioning her, she revealed that she reached here Tuesday night from Delhi.

The woman is being interrogated and subsequently will be arrested and presented before a magistrate, added the official.
