Dayanand eliminated from 'Khatron Ke Khiladi'

Mumbai, April 21 (IANS): TV actor Dayanand Shetty, who managed to please everyone with his humble and helpful attitude on the stunt-based reality show "Khatron Ke Khiladi - Darr Ka Blockbuster", has been eliminated.

The actor, popular as Daya in crime-based show "CID", was elminated Sunday.

Unknown to many, Dayanand suffered from hydrophobia. But this did not deter him from confronting his fear on multiple occasions. The constant face-off with his biggest fear made him one of the toughest competitors on the show, especially because it helped him overcome the fear of water, said a statement.

Speaking about his experience on the show, Dayanand said: " 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' has been an amazing experience. For me, it was like getting a medal on my uniform and I am very proud of myself. I felt quite confident, especially because the crew was quite friendly and cooperative."

"Having Rohit Shetty as an anchor was like a cherry on the cake! I shared a great rapport with all the contestants. My favourite memory, in fact, was my last day on the show where not only all the contestants, but even the crew got emotional on seeing me leave and that meant a lot to me," he added.
