Eight killed in bus accident in Brazil


Brasilia, April 21 (IANS): At least eight people were killed and 30 injured Monday in a bus crash in southern Brazil, the local fire department said.

The accident took place when the driver lost control of the bus outside the town of Bandeirantes in Brazil's southern state of Parana, Xinhua reported.

The bus was travelling from Iguazu Falls to Sao Paulo, carrying at least 45 people.

The injured were taken to hospitals nearby.
