Warm Monday in Delhi, cloudy Tuesday expected


New Delhi, April 21 (IANS): It was a warm Monday in the national capital and the maximum temperature was recorded two notches below the season's average at 35.8 degrees Celsius. Tuesday will be partly cloudy but as warm, the Met Office said.

"The sky will be partly cloudy tomorrow (Tuesday). The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 36 and 22 degrees Celsius respectively," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

Monday's minimum temperature settled five notches below average at 18.6 degrees Celsius.

Sunday's maximum temperature was 33.3 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average, while the minimum settled at 19.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
