Two die in Pakistan blast


Islamabad, April 24 (IANS): At least two people were killed and 15 injured Thursday when a bomb went off outside a shop in Pakistan's port city of Karachi, media reported.

A suspended police officer, Shafique Tanoli, was sitting inside a shop with his friends when the bomb exploded outside it, Xinhua reported citing Dunya TV.

The blast happened near the old vegetable market area of the city at about 8.50 a.m.

The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
